This Privacy Policy explains how ScoreCaller (registered business SP-2407/2017, Ministry of Economic Development, Republic of Maldives) collects, uses, and protects personal information when you use our website and score-prediction game service.
ScoreCaller provides software that lets businesses run branded score-prediction games for sporting tournaments. We act as the data controller for accounts created on our platform, and as a data processor for information that organizing businesses collect from their players through our service.
We do not collect payment-card details, and we do not require any payment, stake, or wager to play.
Some games run through our Telegram bots (@ScoreCallerPlayBot for group games, @ScoreCallerBot for channel games). When you take part this way, we receive from Telegram only what we need to run the game:
@ScoreCallerPlayBot runs with Telegram's privacy mode ON — it can only see replies to its own match posts and its commands. It does not read your other group messages or conversations. We use this data solely to record your guess, score it, and show the leaderboard; we never post on your behalf. Your use of Telegram itself is also governed by Telegram's Privacy Policy.
We share data only with providers that help us run the service: Amazon Web Services (email + media storage), MsgOwl (SMS to Maldivian numbers), Cloudflare (security, anti-bot, DNS), DigitalOcean (hosting), and Telegram (for games played via our Telegram bots). These providers process data on our behalf under their own security commitments.
We keep account and game data for as long as your account or a game is active, and delete or anonymize it on request or when it is no longer needed.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing [email protected].
Passwords are hashed, traffic is encrypted over HTTPS, and we apply rate limiting and bot protection to login, registration, and join forms.
ScoreCaller is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them.
